I’m looking at making a virtualization server that will host my internet router, proxy server & pfSense firewall. I will need to be able to have 3 NICs (one can be build into the motherboard) that can be passed through to the virtualization clients. The internet router will need 2 of them so I can connect from WiFi access point to it as I will need to setup the firewall to block to much that prevents steam from working and the proxy server will be running a VPN which could cause trouble with gaming. What motherboard would be best for my situation? I don’t need builtin WiFi in the motherboard as like I said I’ve got a WiFi access point.
