Hello everyone :)
im going to build a system based on a mAtx Motherboard and an AMD FX 6300 Hexa core Processor.
Im asking myself if a 4 Pin Cpu powerconnnector is enough for the FX 6300?
The MoBos with 8 Pin connectors are more expensive and i have limited Budget....
BTW. i dont want to overclock my cppu
Yes a 4 pin CPU connector is plenty for a FX 6300 even if you do some overclocking.
I used a 4pin with my FX6350 for a while until i got my PSU RAM'd
Worked fine, but since the PSU i was using in replacemtnwas was only 300W i didn't put a load o it or OC it.
Now i have a 700W with a 4.7Ghz OC
Thanks for the reponses
I want to buy a ASRock 960 GM-VGS3 FX , could there be something like a Motherboard bottleneck or does it affectt the performance? if all connectors are the same...PCI-E for example
