Monitor occasionally does not switch (KVM - Windows 10/11)

KVM Model:

HDMI 2.1 KVM w/EDID & Serial Control - Single Monitor - Four Computer

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

10Gbps USB 3.2

Problem:

I currently have two machines connected - one is Windows 10 MSI, one is a Lenovo Windows 11. Usually switching works great, but occasionally when I switch, the USB works, but the monitor shows no input.

Other Notes:

What I’ve done - this appears to be independent of cables, but it’s difficult to reproduce. I have turned off HCDP because other modes were causing static on the monitor when I switched and turning it off fixed that problem. The “no signal” problem happens whether I use the button on the box or an external keypad (USB - programmed to use the key sequences Scroll Lock, Scroll Lock, [Number]).

Hmm have you checked your monitors sleep settings? It could be something like the monitor goes into a deep sleep or power saver mode after awhile.
