Is there a mini ITX board out there that has 10GbE onboard that accepts something like a 9900K?
Don’t think so, or I haven’t seen one at least.
If you want itx+ gpu + 10 GbE, then you best bet is to get an adaptor that converts the m.2 slot to a pci-x4 slot.
Like this: http://www.adt.link/product/R42SR.html
You’ll have to “settle” for sata ssd’s though.
OR get this case with it’s exotic Bifurcated riser cable.
And an ITX board that supports splitting the lanes:

Are you wanting a gaming mini-ITX board with 10g NIC? Or just a mini itx board with 10g and a PCIe slot for other stuff?
Gaming mobos only offer 10 on 700$ atx boards
Server movbos only offer it on matx boards and up
The plus is you get 2 10G ports but I’d have no idea why you’d want a 9900k for non-gaming applications
Thanks all. A sliger case with the bifurcation riser seems to be the way to go like @Donk shared.
This was asked because I have a i9-9900k I’d like to repurpose to my TV/VR PC. My main PC is the 3960x with the Gigabyte TRx40 Aorus Pro (2 10gbe).
My Steam Library and the like are stored on mirrored 4TB SATA SSDs in my FreeNAS box which is running on the ASRock D1541 version (2 10gbe) of the board @2bitmarksman linked.
If you can “settle” for 5 gigs a second, then this https://www.amazon.com/Type-C-5GbE-Adapter-QNA-UC5G1T-QNAP/dp/B07RKLQPLP might be an option?
Usb 3.0 to 5 gbps ethernet.
It will be less restrictive on case choice
I quite like the Sligers, thanks for the recommendation.
5gbps wouldn’t be the worst thing as one SATA SSD would be able to saturate the connection, but I’m just going to go with the bifurcation.
One thing I will be trying / doing (mostly unnecessarily) is passing both the 10gbe card and 2070 super to a Win10 VM. Using the 9900k integrated GPU for Linux. I’m not sure the single USB-C output from the 2070 super will have enough amps for the VR headset, but we’ll see!
