Posting this in a separate thread for a bit more visibility. Been running the switches with the shrouds for the last week with no issues, lower noise, and lower temps.

Got a new CRS312 at work, and I’ve printed out a couple of airflow guides to hopefully bring temps down. They’re running in an open cabinet with the NF-A4s in place of the stock fans, and the temps currently verge into the low 70s.

Okay, so quick follow up (will make a separate thread in and post the 3D print file on thingiverse for people), this thing was a massive success. In RouterOS, fans now run at ~3000RPM instead of maxed at 4500-5000RPM, and temperatures are more than 10°C cooler at under 60°C.

In SwOS, they only get to about 55°C max now.
