I was wondering on buying a new microphone for gaming and for my youtube channel. I am currently deciding between two microphones the Samson c01u and the Samson Meteor mic. Please reply back on which one I should get and the reason why I should get this, instead of the other.
What's your budget, if you have a high budget I would recommend the Audio-Technica AT2020.
If you don't have a high budget the Antlion ModMic 2.0 is really good for the money.

Personally the Yeti is only worth it if you have an XLR audio setup to capture the full quality.
Using Audacity and noise cancellation methods will get the snowball to sound equal to the Yeti when connecting via USB

Well for a gaming channel you want something that sounds good for your voice. its not like you are opening a small record studio and hundreds of will need to sound great.
Just buy a microphone in a local shop or test it there if there is a possibility. Snowball gives off that nice warm sound, but for some voices its terrible. So my advice is: Test as many as you can!
