Matrox g450 Linux Kernel 5.1 Modul

I rarely compile a kernel - so this might be a stupid question -
I’m on centos and want to compile kernel 5.1 with the legacy driver for matrox g series gpu
so I did the usual make menuconfig and navigated to Graphics Support and looked around but could just find a module for a matrox g200

after a bit of googling i found this
https://cateee.net/lkddb/web-lkddb/FB_MATROX_G.html
and this

however i cant find the module in the menuconfig :frowning:
I also noticed this line in the Kconfig: if DRM_LEGACY
if someone could help me i’d be very grateful

On there first screenshot, there’s an option: Enable legacy drivers (DANGEROUS)
Enable that and in that submenu, there should be the option for the driver you’re looking for.

As an aside, kernel 5.1 may not be the best option for CentOS 7. Unless you need the latest kernel, you will be better off using the same kernel release currently installed.
