pt’ed the A770 reference edition into a windows vm.

  1. no output, but the computing works fine. Also the host is able to FLR the card.
  2. use the trick to enable the output, it brings down the host when guest reboots/shutdown due to FLR failed.

The trick is:
booting the host + VM with the display cables physically disconnected, then connecting the display cables after boot complete

I got excited when I realized that my X299 platform and vfio support ReBAR. I got it working with my 3090, but now im stuck with the problems you mentioned above on my A750 :frowning:

I’m not sure but I’m met with limited success. VM shutdown/reboot/force-off/force-reset even take the host down, it slowly lags the system to unusable. When it works, I get display out just fine, might take a minute for output on VM boot. I’ve only tested Warframe so far but it seems to get stuck in a lower powermode, it usually does 120-200fps 1440p and draws 190W but it draws 95w max giving me 40-50fps,
