Macs on a school network can't play back the adobe premier projects properly

Hi,
I work at IT support at one school and in the graphics design department there is a problem with the adobe sweet.

When a student tries to playback a adobe premier cs5 the project will run for a few frames then stop.

Im thinking its a network user problem because when i log in locally it works fine.

Thanks.

So are the resources for said projects being stored on a network file system? If so then that’s likely the cause as Premier projects can have many very large resources that can’t be streamed fast enough all together when trying to live render the project. All project files should be stored locally whenever trying to live render.

PS, Adobe *Suite

sorry, i forgot to mention that it would be the same problem even if the project is stored locally.
So …
local admin = works fine
account on the network server = problem no matter where it is stored
