M.2 help!

Hey guys, Im working on a "blueprint" for a pc to build soon over winter break. This is what I have so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

I really want to use the M.2 port in the MOBO as a boot drive because of the speed, but I don't know if this M.2 SSD will work with this mobo as just a boot drive without raid (the only review i could find was on the 512gb version that said that it only worked with his mobo in a raid config http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-XP941-512GB-PCIe-MZHPU512HCGL/product-reviews/B00JOSM3TK/ref=dpx_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1)

any suggestions? the only other option i have is the plextor m.2 that is still fast but not near as fast as the samsung.
