This seems to be the error:

Not sure what’s going on. I tried to boot a live disk, and update (as I can’t even use TTY). While that process worked, it didn’t resolve the issue.
The VM is Lubuntu 22.04.
Edit: I’d like to add that my Ubuntu Unity VM is also experiencing somewhat the same thing. Unlike Lubuntu, this is what shows on Ubuntu Unity:

My Arch VM is also affected. Not sure if it’s related, but I just installed Deepin on it, and here’s what I got:
