smart ass neighbor tossed out a vintage craftsman hedge trimmer because he said it was seized up!
well i know tools quite well and took it home to clean it up and see what parts i need to replace.
anyhow pulled the shell apart, removed the cutter head, and motor rotated fine.
no missing teeth on any gears.
checked the tension on the cutter heads and all 4 screws were cranked down tight (way too tight) they were binding the shear.
anyhow adjusted them properly and now i have a damn good machine.
I so want to tell him he’s gotta be smarter than the machine!
