I have always used AMD CPUs but I am looking to switch to Intel. I have a FX-6300 now and I was looking at the 4690k paired with the Asus Z97-PRO. Is that a good combo? Are there better options for either the CPU or the Motherboard? I pretty much only game, I don't edit or any kind of high power work. I do plan on overlcocking. My budget is approximately $400.

And yes, the 4690k should work just fine with the Z97-Pro
The rest of the stuff I have in my system now is 8gb g.skill ddr3 1600 ram, gtx 970, evga supernova g2 850 PSU, samsung 850 evo 250gb ssd. I plan keeping all that and just swapping the CPU and Motherboard.
