1.The looking glass host windows service stops some times when no monitor is connected.
The service in Windows should keep running all the time, even if it can’t connect to the output.
The connection/output to the host OS (Linux) should just change to something else, like VNC or spice and there should be an overlay or a colored frame telling the user that looking-glass-host.exe
is not connected to the looking-glass-client
but is using a different service to display the VM.
2.looking-glass-host.exe
is outputting to the looking-glass-host.txt
.
It is in C:\ProgramData\Looking Glass (host)\
3.The following is probably not connected to looking-glass:
LG is working fine and the monitor is detected in the device manager.
My GPU does not output anything anymore through the rear connectors.
I reinstalled Windows but it still won’t output anything.
I tried DVI and HDMI.
Probably need to change the firmware or RMA if I still got warranty.
Will try to downgrade the drivers.
The output through looking glass works.
AMD R9 RX 590 drivers: WHQL-AMD-Software-Adrenaline-Edition-23.3.1-Win10-Win11-Mar7
I got sticky keys in LG and it some times even executes arbitrary keys.
I installed the guest tools but the device manager
still shows
PCI Keyboard Controller
PCI Mouse Controller
in Other devices
and they seam to be without a driver.
