Looking for older 4K capable GPU for After School Program

Greetings!

I volunteer at a non-profit After School program for at risk youths, 12-17 year olds. They are in need of any GPU capable of driving a 4K projector donated. Its not for primarily for gaming , so the latest and greatest isn’t needed.

If it is for 2d work only, an integrated GPU from some years ago will probably be able to do this? Have you tested what they already have yet? You may find it works.

Yes, 1080p is max. I checked. I have an old GTX card, but its HDMI is wonky.

GT 1030 and a DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 active adapter is pretty much what you need. Used GT 1030s should be super cheap, and be sure to get the GDDR5 version.

Your 4k projector will run fine at 1080p
