So I am in the market looking for a decent sound system for my recently build PC. I am currently using a Takstar Hi2050 (ik they are cheap, but they sound great). I am now looking for:
Closed- Back, Over-the-Ear Headphones (Neutral)
DAC/AMP Combo (USB)
2.0 or 2.1 Speaker System
Mic
I am planning to play around with editing music, videos, and other stuff. Reason for the closed back (neutral) headphones. My On board Sound Card is just BAD, I can't drive an 80 Ohms DT990 (my dad's). My dad also gave me a Xonar U7 but it just straight up break after 2 months, the plug for headphones won't work. I am looking for the DAC/AMP (USB) for the headphones and the speaker that i am planning to get. I'll be plugging bot the speaker and Headphones on the DAC/AMP at the same time and just switch it around on Windows (10). I saw some pretty cool 2.0 multimedia speakers and they are quite good, with great bass and decent highs. I don't care about the loudness of the speakers i am more concerned on the clarity and balance. For the Mic, I will be using it for VOIP, Skype, etc. I am looking for a mic that wont pick up the sound of my surrounding (if possible). (I have a separate Mic for recordings (The Audio Technica AT2020 (gift from a great friend of mine)))
