I'm looking to get a new mouse, preferably a gaming centered mouse. I've been looking at the Razer Naga series but 12 buttons seems like a little too much. The Naga Hex seems to be alright with just 6 buttons, which I can handle. Would that be a good choice? Any others someone can suggest I look into?
It depends on what type of gaming you will be doing.
If you are going to be playing MMO games for example WoW then the razer naga epic or the naga hex will be perfect for that as those mice allow for quick activation of spells and abilities on the action bar.
If you are going to be playing first person shooter type games then a 5 button mouse will suit you better (left and right click, scroll wheel and 2 side buttons). I would not only look at razer as a potential product choice but also other brands like roccat, personally i would only reccomend steelseries for their keyboards as i haven't really messed around with their mice.
As far as razer goes then your best options for first person shooters would be something like the razer mamba, imperator or deathadder depending on your budget. If you are looking into roccat then your best bet is looking into their kone and kova series of mice. You can visit roccat's website here: http://www.roccat.org and take a look for yourself and im sure you can find some reviews on youtube and other various hardware review websites.
Good luck finding the perfect gaming mouse!
I've been using my Cyber Snipa Silencer Gaming Mouse. Works really nice and is a big mouse for the big handed people like me. Also comes with weights to. Only about $50-60
Hm, a mouse that could fit my ginormous man hands. I think I'm sold.
I love my logitech g700.
My Razer deathadder does an excellent job at just about everything. Low sensitivity and max dpi = heaven.
