Hey everyone,
I am using a linux server to handle users and groups through NIS. NIS-Clients work fine on linux but I am unable to import the Maps to FreeNAS (v 11.3-U4.1).
I followed the manual and searched through the forums and saw , that freeBSD based systems need a “master.passwd” which my ypserver is not creating.
This thread walks about a patch to get said master.passwd file but I was unable to find any further information about this:
