Recommendations will depend on your intended usage, and your general level of knowledge/experience with Linux. For a stable, mostly hands-off (in terms of maintenance) experience, distros such as Mint or Debian are a good fit.
The current hotness in gaming circles seems to be CachyOS. I tried it a bit, and its KDE edition seems to work all right, but since I’m not a gamer, I didn’t find it special enough to bother with it further.
As @dumetrulo has said. Will come down to your preference/skill. I will say for beginners that also would like to game Bazzite is very good choice as it’s a lot harder to brick the OS. Pop!_OS and Nobara are similarly good options, but give you quite a bit more freedom. Overall I don’t think there is really a “wrong” or “right” answer as it really comes down to personal preference and your specific need.
