Linux Academy

Hey guys I'm thinking of learning Linux with you all, but it would be great to follow a regimented program and maybe get something that would help me with getting a job while I'm at it, hence Linux Academy. So I didn't rly do any research like I normally do before purchasing something, will this be a good website/course to join? Are their any others?

I'm pretty much a noob at Linux, I played around with Ubuntu 10.10 and BackTrack 3.

There are some additional links in the 1 Year Linux Challenge thread for new users.

I'd recommend "The Urban Penguin".

As a professional IT Instructor he has been adding instructional videos to his YouTube channel since 2009. Currently there are over 500 videos available starting with introductory training with the LPI (Linux Professional Institute) Linux Essentials moving through to more technically challenging how-tos on iSCSI and Virtualization.

My second recommendation, as a general source of Linux info, is Linux Voice. Back issues are free to download.
