Link Aggregation on Quanta LB4M

I got a Quanta LB4m that I want to set up link aggregation on port 38, 40 and 42.

It is supposed to talk to an Avaya 4548GT-PWR via LAG (wich is confirmed working).

I think I got them grouped up (using this):

config

interface 0/38
no shutdown
addport 3/1
exit

interface 0/40
no shutdown
addport 3/1
exit

interface 0/42
no shutdown
addport 3/1
exit

Then I went ahead and did

interface 3/1
lacp admin key 2
exit

Current situation: Occasional broadcast storm. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
What could I be missing here?

Sidedate (no ups in sight):
Seems there is a combination of issues. One of them beeing the Avaya does not support the version os spanning tree that is configured on the Quanta
