LG 34UM67: FreeSync Ultra-wide 21:9 Gaming Monitor Review | Tek Syndicate

Be neat if teksyndicate could physically test input lag. It's quite an important selling point. Freesync monitors are easy to test. Gsync monitors are a different beast altogether with how they work. From what I have read they add 4ms but magically reduce input lag versus a classic setup. Classic meaning no gsync or freesync. You can test with a Video Signal Input Lag Tester. Maybe this is something that will interest others that frequent this site?

Is that one of those dell home theater displays?

No, it is a Nokia 445Pro.

It is mentioned in the video that to maintain freesync, the frame-rate has to fall in the 48-75 FPS range. Is it not possible to just cap the frame-rate at 75 FPS? Opposed to piling on a ton of filters, to maintain this 'sweet spot'. Or, is this not how freesync technology works?
