Some slides have leaked out with information about Intel's forthcoming 6th Generation Core processor, code named Skylake. We have known that Skylake was coming, and coming this year, but there have been a lot of questions about enthusiast parts and what that means for DIY builders.
I thought that the latest information we got said that it didn't have ddr4 support...
well it does seem to have for customer products ~ most likely for more expensive high performance models and enthusiast.
There are two variant MBs that will be mainstream. DDR3L is likely the first round of boards followed by DDR4. Note DDR3L runs at 1.35v not the normal 1.5v.
