I recently did an install of arch using arch bang (I've done it manually before but that takes time). when I run a system update I don't get the latest nvidia drivers I still have 355.11 if anyone knows what my problem is please help
I wouldn't consider it a problem. I'm running Arch, I'm also on 355.11. Any very slightly newer drivers aren't going to make enough of a difference imo to enable the testing repos.
The only changes they've made in the last little version increments I believe are some bug fixes but unless you notice an issue I wouldn't really worry about it.
Most likely you're running nvidia-mainline, correct? That's still 355.11.

Could try 358.16 if you wanted but 355.11 should be fine.
