Recently I was given a used Solidigm 15 TB U.2 SSD by a friend. I’ve been trying to find a workstation laptop or a gaming laptop that’s compatible with U.2 SSD. I’m not having any luck. I was wondering if any of you guys knew a laptop that was compatible with U.2 SSD.
I don’t think such a thing exists. U.2 is a form factor for servers and requires more power/cooling than most laptops can provide.

Even IF there is one that has a 2.5" slot for NVMe (we used to have these for SATA), the battery will run dry in no time. And will get very hot. These things use 10-25W.
I’ve seen Thunderbolt enclosures for U.2, so Laptops and cameras, etc. can use them. Internal U.2 in a laptop is just madness imo
