My desktop is an i5 2500k 4.2Ghz, and i hv 3 samsung 23" 2048x1152 resolution each driving by a single xfx dual fan 6870. sometimes the mouse pointer just frozen for 2 - 3 sec.
is this my GPU problem ? i just wanna get rid of the mouse lag, gaming is not a concern for me.

Probably not a GPU problem.
Check your system log - Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer. Anything red/yellow there coinciding with lag times?
does anything else on the screen freeze? (videos, any animations)
could be a dying mouse
