Those Saabs are really nice cars to look at.
Unfortunately there never will be a new Saab again which is a shame really.
The new Volvo S60 is really a beautiful car in my opinion one of the prettiest sedans,
on the market together with the Alfa Giulia.
I have a first gen Volvo S60 2.4 with a manual nice 5 cylinder sound.
Kinda slow but it drives pretty well, but i´m gonna replace it soon.
However the new S60 and V60´s are really nice i wish i could afford one right now.
One thing that is a bit of a bummer is that Volvo got rid of the manual gearbox.
Although you could still get a manual in the newer XC40´s T3 but yeah that is a 3 cylinder.
Back in 2017 when I was shopping for my secondary car with more cargo space, I was kind of half hoping to find an XJ, but despite their reputation for being damn near unkillable, I just couldn’t find one anywhere.
Apparently they had become popular in the off-road modding community, meaning regular unmolested road going variants were essentially unicorns by that point, making them way overpriced which is a shame.
So, I went with plan B instead, the almost equally unkillable first generation Volvo V70 (essentially a face-lifted Volvo 850 Wagon).
As much as I have come to love the V70, it would have been fun to have an XJ.
But an unmodified XJ with ~100k miles on it will run you ~$14k today, and at that price it just doesn’t make sense.
I got the 2000 V70 with ~75k miles on it in 2017 for $3,500, which was closer to what I was looking to pay, and it has been a trooper.
Thank you very much.
Yeah the Whizzkid is a cool name. But telling poeple I-am in my ‘Sports Coupe’ is also a fun thing to do
It doesn’t look so small next to my other current small cars.
LOVE the aesthetic, Nissan chased… Even if its a re-retooling, of the 350 chassis
Did wish Nissan offered, an NA tier, in conjunction to the TT… Like they used to do
Whether an NA variant of same 3.0 [+ kinda highstring it], or shovel in the new-ish 3.8
