Cool cars you have had.

Those Saabs are really nice cars to look at.
Unfortunately there never will be a new Saab again which is a shame really.

The new Volvo S60 is really a beautiful car in my opinion one of the prettiest sedans,
on the market together with the Alfa Giulia.
I have a first gen Volvo S60 2.4 with a manual nice 5 cylinder sound.
Kinda slow but it drives pretty well, but i´m gonna replace it soon.
However the new S60 and V60´s are really nice i wish i could afford one right now.
One thing that is a bit of a bummer is that Volvo got rid of the manual gearbox.
Although you could still get a manual in the newer XC40´s T3 but yeah that is a 3 cylinder.

Also Volvo has the best seats in car land!

That’s so Awesome! You have really good taste in cars as far as I’m concerned. Every one you post is right up my alley.

Whizzkid is a way better name tho. Lol

Back in 2017 when I was shopping for my secondary car with more cargo space, I was kind of half hoping to find an XJ, but despite their reputation for being damn near unkillable, I just couldn’t find one anywhere.

Apparently they had become popular in the off-road modding community, meaning regular unmolested road going variants were essentially unicorns by that point, making them way overpriced which is a shame.

So, I went with plan B instead, the almost equally unkillable first generation Volvo V70 (essentially a face-lifted Volvo 850 Wagon).

As much as I have come to love the V70, it would have been fun to have an XJ.

But an unmodified XJ with ~100k miles on it will run you ~$14k today, and at that price it just doesn’t make sense.

I got the 2000 V70 with ~75k miles on it in 2017 for $3,500, which was closer to what I was looking to pay, and it has been a trooper.

Thank you very much.
Yeah the Whizzkid is a cool name. But telling poeple I-am in my ‘Sports Coupe’ is also a fun thing to do
It doesn’t look so small next to my other current small cars.

I don’t even know what to make of that. What type of motor is this going to? Inline or V?

Recently picked up a 2024 Nissan Z performance

Its good to have boost again.

LOVE the aesthetic, Nissan chased… Even if its a re-retooling, of the 350 chassis

Did wish Nissan offered, an NA tier, in conjunction to the TT… Like they used to do
Whether an NA variant of same 3.0 [+ kinda highstring it], or shovel in the new-ish 3.8

Its easier now to control it with software…

old way used to be smaller turbo/exhaust/injectors/etc

now its… just detune it and make them all the same parts.

A Miata is for me the icon of fun. Please don’t suck the fun out of a Miata.

Do remember, the Viper ain’t much larger, than a Miata
