Yeah i was already looking into obd2 readers.
Vida is pretty much the best software to use for reading out volvo’s.
But i believe that vida is kinda pricy.
The error code in regards to the emission light is something related to the catalytic converter.
So my guess is that the diagnose sensor behind the catalytic converter,
is just giving falls readings or being defective.
I might replace the sensor some day.
But i´m not in a hurry with that because the car runs properly.

Im in this boat. Handled stuff myself since 16. I try not to have disdain for the others but im so tired of it. Especially when they start going crazy or political about it saying they cant afford to move out. You can. You just dont want to work hard. Unpopular opinion but I have a good portion of evidence to suggest the truth of this statement

Me neither, their layouts and tech is often overcomplicated and seems a bit ‘build as we go’.
Coming from japanese cars, peugeot is a nightmare…

Anybody running a dash cam here?
Just got out of a situation where, if i didn’t have the skill, it could’ve gone pretty wrong and i’d wish i had a dash cam on the car to prove my point.
I was thinking about getting this one:
Ah yes, driving a Peugeot with a sub in the trunk, buying stuff from Aliexpress, having a dash cam, each day that passes, i’m getting more russian.

Yeah, i leave it parked alone for 7 or so hours each day, it would be nice to have some sort of assurance if something happens.
Now that I’m thinking about it, a model with a rear camera would be even better.
