I recently purchased the kit in the title for my 4PC x 2Display, DP 1.2 L1KVM. Unfortunately, for the life of me, I have no idea what the two M3 x 0.5 machine screws are intended to be used for.
My curiosity is driving me even more nuts.
Also, anyone know where I might source some longer M5 x 0.8 rack screws?
Any well sorted hardware (as in: metal hardware) retailer should have those.
Edit: Wait, M5x0.8? That is some weird fine-thread.
The official spec is M5-0.8 (0.8 is the thread pitch) x 12mm. M5 can actually come with a 0.5 thread pitch, thought it is much less common apparently.
@wendell - mind weighing in on the intended use of the M3 screws?

McMaster is your friend in this situation. You’ll be hard pressed to find less than 25 in a package, but they sell good hardware.
