I enjoyed it, has all the new bells and whistles like ray tracing and DLSS.
The sheer amount of reflective surfaces and the fact that you can destroy a lot of terrain make it a good tech demo.

Yes but that is the third part of the trilogy, the first two being Metro 2033 (Redux) and Metro: Last Light (Redux).

All 3 are based on a series of novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
