KVM mouse keyboard input stutter/lag

I’ve set up a KVM extender so I am able to use my tower in another room in the house via an IP KVM extender.

Visuals are coming through flawlessly

However the the keyboard and mouse connection appears to be unstable. Frequently missing some keys when I type or missing some mouse inputs.

I’ve tried changing the peripherals and same issue occurs. I’ve tested the peripherals directly with the PC and they work fine.

If anyone has any suggestions I would love some help

I’ve tried updating drivers
I’ve tried changing the USB port I use on the motherboard

Is this the L1Techs BaseT Ethernet Extender? what peripherals have you tried (makes/models)? one problem device could cause problems for all usb devices in this scenario.
