KVM HDMI 2.1 - unstable and delay when switching displays

KVM Model:

HDMI 2.1 KVM w/EDID & Serial Control - Dual Monitor - Four Computer

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

10-gigbit

Problem:

For some time I started having some issues with KVM in general. It seems to be less stable - most obvious symptom is delayed switching of monitors - after using hotkey to switch to other input, I hear usual KVM beep indicating switch, but contents of the previous monitor are displayed for around 1 or 2 seconds and then input switching happens. When KVM is working properly, displays go black instantly and new content appears after some short time. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it happens, KVM seems to be less stable. More often there are issues that one display is not turning on after switching input (stays black and requires another(or multiple) cycle to start displaying). Also, there is an issue with mouse Keychron M5, that it’s a bit delayed and not precise, which usually fixes after cycling inputs and plugging and unplugging dongle - but the mouse issue might not be caused by KVM itself.

There is no clear pattern when those issue happen. For example, yesterday I had some issues with black display after switching inputs, so I left KVM unplugged overnight for resetting. Today after few hours of usage the delay thing happend few times, then it fixed itself.

I use good quality cables (Club3d and Lindy). Previously there were those issues with display not turning on after switching input, but those delays are quite new - few weeks.

Might it be caused by some KVM firmware? Or what could be an issue there?

Pinging @wendell @Level1_Amber

Hi thank you for the ping on this! Seems it was lost in the sauce.

Does your monitor have a deep sleep setting or ecoode by chance that could be interfering?

Is the mouse in the HID port or the blue USB 3?
