KVM having issues maintaining USB and monitor connection

One of my KVMs keeps having issues on both DP and USB.

All the USB ports stop working and my primary display (connected to port 2) gets disconnected a lot. It didn’t do this in the past, but started doing it about a month ago.

I was having issues with HDR where it would sometimes have some white specs. I used to see this with my VR headset years ago if the connection wasn’t good. It’s DisplayPort signal noise as far as I understand it (yes, even though it’s digital).

So I thought maybe it was because of the KabelDireck DP cables, but switching to Club3D, it was much worse; unusable with lots of artifacts.

I’m wondering now if it’s actually the KVM causing the issues and that the USB controller is getting nix’d because of DP issues.

Well, now the USB controller isn’t working at all.

I swapped the ports used by the monitors too figuring maybe that had something to do with it, but that didn’t change anything.

Sounds kinda like a 20 pin dp cable backfeeding power, youncan email me wendell at level1techs dot com so you can mail it in and ill take a look
