just a short info to those not knowing erik. erik dubois was running arco-linux for several years until he stopped the project. arco linux was a very unusual distro with a lot of ambitious differences to ordinary distros and erik is well known to experiment and to go his own way. his new project is KIro, a distro that is maintained only by one person with assistance of KI (in this case claude). well, i’m no friend of KI but nevertheless erik’s move to run a distro only driven by him with KI-assistance is in fact very controversial and i’m sure it will split in two opinions. those who really disagree and others who will be fascinated by this move. however, it takes a tough guy like erik who is willing to take a direction that is not mainstream. you can find a lot of information on his youtube-channel. just search for erik dubious if you’re interested in infos and howto’s of his work or simple search for “kiroproject”.
