Kindle Fire HDX VS. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0?

My aunt gave me the option of trading in my Kindle Fire HD for the newer HDX or snagging a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. Instinctively I had originally went with the Tab, but then I compared the specs; on an Android device, these mean everything to me. I immediately noticed the error in my ways and now I'm getting the HDX. It has better specs across the board. You can try and sway me over to TouchWiz, but in my experience when my warranty expires I immediately flash a custom ROM. I think in the long run this was the better option, but was curious what you guys think. I game (a lot), watch videos/movies, listen to music, but the rest goes to my laptop.

The new Asus Memo Pad 7 is a pretty damn good tablet. I'd personally get it over the Galaxy Tab

This wait for the new memo pad to come out. The tab performance sucks the kindle fire has no sd card slot. Trust me you are going to need a sd card slot regardless of what google says.

I got the HDX. I couldn't wait as it was not an option. The upgrade was free and I had those choices. I went with the more powerful, and have not looked back.
