Kernel 7.0.0-1 and zfs

Greetings,

I should have joined the level1techs forums many years ago, but alas… this is my first post.

As requested by the man (aka “the management”/Wendell; …old reference), I am sharing zfs success on kernel 7. I did nothing special. I just updated cachyos with paru and it worked.

Though, as I am new to zfs and cachyos, and just installed both on 4/10, I managed to break other things. I got stuck revokefs-fuse mounts by attempting to flatpak update from a normal user w/o sudo (I swear I recall doing it at least a couple times on Manjaro?). And I also had zfsbootmenu issues from using a script Claude created to “snapshot boot environments”, which sounded really sexy until it set / as the mountpoint for two datasets and caused boot issues. Using new tools leads to learning new ways!
