So im worried like hell about my cheating ex sending me a virus. Any thing i can do to better portect my self?
GO LINUX or get a PFSense Box with a the anti-virus app installed
dont run random executables (exe's msi's src's). dont run random java applets asking to be ran. (its easy to fake the signiture on them. so if it says it was signed by microsoft, it doesnt mean shit)

Just do not open anything she sends to you, if you follow this advise you are save.
There are also viruses for Linux.
Go linux, ReDnAx1991 did just mention there are viruses for that but i'm sure we can all agree that it has one of the lowest counts of all.
