This is my submission to the AI 9700 Pro Giveaway.
While I sometimes chat with LLMs occasionally kill boredom, I feel like I could have a lot more fun pushing this hardware to its limits in other ways. (primarily gaming in comedic, stupid ways)
A GPU with 32GB of VRAM was likely never meant to be paired with a 3600, but I’d sure love to see how that bottleneck plays out the moment I try and put it into my system, compared to my mostly reasonable in comparison gtx 1080.
potentially playing games in 8460p on a 1440p monitor sounds like it’d be a fun time as well.
(Yes, this is an emulator that supports games going up to 8460p)
I believe I would make…
…I was gonna say “good” use of this gpu, I’d just make use of it in a weird way.
I don’t really have AI related projects or ideas that the 9700 AI Pro would help, unless you count occasional usage of Kobold and Sillytavern as “intense ai workloads”.
