When running the Win11 Installation Assistant, it prompts that Windows 10 needs to be updated to version 2004 first. However, attempting to update results in a message stating that “Windows 10 Easy Upgrade is already running,” preventing the update from continuing. How can this be resolved?
Just do a fresh installation. Use Rufus to circumvent account, TPM etc.
In-place upgrades work, but whatever you borked up over the last years, also will persist. this is a good time for spring cleaning and re-consider if you need every application you ever installed.
