Issues with shortcut switching input

KVM Model:

1.4 DP - Triple Monitor - Two Computer

USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):

5-gigabit

Problem:

I’m using a Dygma Defy as my primary keyboard. Unfortunately this doesn’t work on the HID ports but works fine on the USB 3 ports. I bought a small macro pad to use with a HID port for toggling computers. This briefly worked but now does nothing. Not really sure what to do from here.

I’ve been using LCTRL + LCTRL + 1 or 2 to toggle. This previously worked fine on an HID port using a previous keyboard.

Other Notes:

I’m happy to provide any other info that may be needed. Thanks!

Any input would be appreciated.

Oh hi thank you for the poke  let me see…

This is strange…

Just curious, can you ty disaling N-Key Rollover to see if it fixes compatibility with the HID ports?

It doesn’t look like there is a way to disable N-Key Rollover on this keyboard.

Can you try plugging it directly into the PC? Just wondering if the cable is faulty or it’s struggling. I’ve never seen the hotkeys just stop working and the problem be KVM-related… do you have another keyboard to try that is HID compliant? Can you try the macropad in other HID ports?

It has 3 keys on it so I have the left key bound to 1 center as LCtrl and right to 2. I have verified that these are not the number pad numbers and I can type 1 and 2 with the pad as well as use the LCtrl along with my full keyboard for shortcuts so I know the keys work.

Any thoughts what to do from here?

I’m pretty stumped on iit. Email “wendell at level1techs dot com” for some better insight / maybe an rma
