Issues NIC pass through network appliance for forbidden router build

Hi everyone.
I finally will get fiber in a couple of months, big upgrade from my current 7Mbit copper connection.
Therefore, I’m going the forbidden router route and bought this appliance with an Intel I5 1240p as barebone, slapped an old 500GB Nvme that I had laying around in it and 32Gig RAM
I am new to virtualization and xnp-ng so I knew that it wouldn’t work at first try but as mentioned I got some months left to get it running

Now I’m facing an issue by trying to pass trough the SFP+ and two of the ETH Ports to the pfsense VM

I managed to detach the devices from dom0 by following the guideline

And tried to attach it to the vm

But somehow it doesn’t seem to work. The devices still showing up at the host
And at the VM no Network connections showing up.
I can only assign those NICs from the host.

Could someone please explain me what am I doing wrong?
