Hi I have a Ubiquiti UCG-Fiber Cloud Gateway (UCG-Fiber) I have part fiber so got a DrayTek Vigor 167 to be the modem im trying to get in to the web portal to put it on bridge mode but getting nothing coming up wen I enter the 192.168.1.1 on the modem I mean any one know what i need to try lol its doing me head in

  1. That IP address might be incorrect, check the router manual what it expects to be.
  2. Fibre companies often use MAC address bound media converters, so maybe use the one from your ISP in your router.
  3. If you’re certain the IP address is correct, disconnect everything from the router and only connect via wire (not wireless!!) to the router.

I cant use one for my isp it dont have bridge mode google tells me it that one i will see if I can find user guide to double check

Manage to get on to the modem i now cant find connection type on the ubiquiti fiber?

all you want to do is switch the vigor to modem mode in the settings.. go through their user guide to set everything else up.. then setup the WAN connection on the fiber as DHCP and if i remember correctly(it’s been a couple years, lol) it should autoconfig everything else. then you can fine tune it after that.
