Speccy says 28C.

The warning is from AI Suite 2.

Intel i7-3770K overclocked to 4.2GHz on a Asus P8Z77-V Pro motherboard.

you need to tweet when asus warns you about temps, I get voltage and fan warnings just because I have not tweaked the asus software to warn when it dangerous

Sorry if I'm being a n00b but i don't understand what you mean.

It's software-related, for sure. Use Speedfan and Core Temp to try and find your ACTUAL temperatures.

I've found AI Tuner to be hit-and-miss on non-ROG motherboards.
