Is the Asus P8B75-M LX Motherboard good for an intel i7 3770 or do I need something better?

Hey guys and girls,

Doing a build and saw this. It looks sufficient to me but hey, what do I know. One thing i will say is that I dont like its lack of ram slots and expansion slots but Im not too worried, will it cope with the CPU?

you want a z77. and for a gaming build, i7 is a waste of $$$$. if your doing video stuff, then it's reasonable.

you should get a full atx mobo, microatx is for super budget builds and HTPC's

Thanks mate you've saved me alot of hassle. It is for video editing and 3D graphic rendering so I'll stick with the i7. Ah okay matey I'll remember that for the future. Thanks again!:D
