Is it worth buying a 120Hz monitor for a 7970GHz?

you might have to drop the setting from MAX, in some games to let it go 60+

but yes a 120hz monitor will allow a 7970 to REALLY stretch it's wings, especially in less demanding games like minecraft    :)

Yeah, that's true. Sometimes I forgot while I'm looking at benchmarks that everything is usually benched in Ultra settings and get a little hopeless that everything is under 60 FPS. Thanks! :D

What monitor are you looking at? I like the BenQ 120hz monitors a lot.
