Anyone have experience, positive or negative, running the Chrome OS on a raspberry pi??
I wouldn't say so. ChromeOS has been made for the x86 cpu architecture while the Pi uses the ARM architecture. So, unless you got your hands on the source code and is really good at coding, no, it won't unfortunately.
Chromium OS the open source version of Chrone does have and ARM port, not sure if it supports ARM v6 though if it does you will have to compile it yourself.
There are ARM chromebooks
Chromium would be the solution if you're looking for Chrome like features/performance
