Is it possible to liquid cool a pc with quicksilver

It is an insane task for a small difference in look. but i think it would look fucking amazing to have the plastic outsides of the hardtube and the metallic liquid inside the tubes. I am aware of the dangers of dealing with quicksilver and the insane wheight difference, but is it possible?

It would be possible, but mercury corrodes aluminium, so the fittings and blocks would have to be steal/nickel. Mercury's also a really bad conductor of heat, compared to other metals, and water.

It's also a lot more dense than water, meaning the pump would have to work a lot harder.

This might be what you are looking for.

yeah, but i dont want to die when i expose it to air.

Point for you...

Even if you managed to move it in a loop somehow, despite its density, it`s the worst coolant to choose because of its thermal expansion, thats the reason its used in thermometers. It gets the heat and expands its volume.

Im not sure what metal this was meant to use but it could work in a loop.

I would love to come up with some liquids that you could liquid cool your PC with even if its rediculously dangerous if it keeps the PC cooled....

Dihydrogen monoxide works pretty well I've heard
