I am working on a 737 home simulator and instead of spending several thousand dollars on a overhead panel i am looking at using a touchscreen but at the size i am looking at touch frames seems to be the only option. I have had a look around and found everything from $99 ones on alibaba to professional grade ones with a “request price” label. What is the lowest cost one i should get if all i really need is something that can do one finger input and not full 10 point multitouch.
I’d be looking for some kind of “optical” touchscreen. I think they’re often a lot cheaper because they don’t need the extra layers that a capacitive touchscreen does.
