Next up is the Z390 chipset which was made official. The change from Z370 is fairly minor, the kaby lake PCH has been replaced with Cannon point PCH which is the same as the one seen on H370 and B360.
This chipset is basically H370 +OC and some extra HSIO lanes.
Yeah from what i gather the main difference is native usb3.1 gen2 controller on the chipset.
And something with bluetooth 5.0 support.
Still no improvements on the dmi bus, which is a littlebit dissapointing.
Extra HSio lanes is nice, but still…
