So I am thinking of retiring my current unRAID hardware which is:
- AMD Ryzen 7 1700x
- 32GB (2x16GB) DDR-2133
- ASRock AB350 Pro
I have some Supermicro servers I am thinking of selling but may take a CPU out of one and pair with a motherboard, or I was looking into building an AMD Epyc system. Not really sure which is the way to go. It’s going to be overkill no matter what I build, lol.
I am torn on using the hardware I have from my Supermicro servers as I know I can get more for them if I keep all the hardware in them. Any thoughts?
